Are you AJs cheerleader or something? Frank didn't mention Joshua once in that article tbf not everything is a competition. People on here were saying it's gonna bomb/Fury isn't a draw blahblah clearly not the case is it. Nobody is saying he is more popular than Joshua don't get your panties twisted.

But it needed Whyte or Joshua to really get this big, Fury couldn't of done this against any of his recent resume aside from Wilder. Fury is the main man, the A side, the star attraction here but he still needed the right dance partner.

And that's why Whyte feels they can go fkk themselves as far as helping them promote this fight. Arum and Warren went and asked Whytes split to be reduced, they said he wasn't worth 5hit yet this dance partner is part of the reason these tickets are selling the way they are.

I agree it doesnt matter who the main attraction is if they aren't fighting the right person. Without the possibility of an upset or at least some back and forth it's not worth buying.

Ticket sales numbers from the UK are meaningless. Promoters can buy the tickets and use it as a tool to con the public with fake hype.

This is true for the most part. But this fight will be BIG. It blows my mind that people thought otherwise.

I've really soured on the way the British public have turned on Joshua but people need to remember that boxing is ultimately a sport and people come to watch the best compete. You have a guy who is undoubtably the number one heavyweight in the division and a guy who is (very arguably) the best heavyweight outside of the top 4. Whyte is a major draw in his own right, has been in some very exciting dust ups and can give it the large in any presser. How on gods green earth did people think this wasn't going to do at least 800k-1m buys? When guys past their prime like Khan and Brook can pull those numbers???

The problem with Hearn, Joshua and his fans is that people think his marketability somehow entitles him to be the biggest draw in the UK. Sorry but he's lost two fights now with the second loss being a convincing one. He's shown no real resolve to get back into the ring and the heavyweight division seems to be becoming increasingly competitive, with a gaggle of British heavyweight prospects. Unless he marches into a BIG fight with someone like Wilder or Fury or wins his title back then his relevance will continue to decline. Joshua isn't entitled to be the biggest draw because his ****riders say so.
