I think Bivol is the toughest fight Canelo could have taken 175 and below. Bivol may not be a murderous puncher at LHW, but he is a sharp puncher and is clearly a much bigger guy who has a great engine and excellent boxing skills. Most importantly, he has really great feet. Canelo is great but I feel like he’s bitten off too much this time.

The way things are unfolding beating the sht out of Bivol will be played out all the way, and if Canello destroys him it will be a massive hooray from the world, there will huge pressure on Bivol for this, I think this will become more that the US vs Russia I see people getting very emotionally invested in this fight.

Honest question, do you think Canelo's opponents are allowed to wear No Boxing No Life gloves, if they wanted? I noticed Canelo started stopping guys his size or bigger and injuring them as soon as he started wearing those gloves (more so than usual). And looking at reviews, they have hardly any padding on the knuckles, which along with how he wraps his hands, suddenly starts to make sense wear his power is coming from. Nothing illegal obviously but it made me curious if his opponents are allowed to wear them or not if they wanted to.

You should know by now, they do what Canelo demands they do, or they don't get the fight.
