For one, Pacquiao has ALWAYS had great stamina. You mean, he's been takin' roids since he got to the U.S? Since 2001? Secondly, punchers are born not made. If you were a power puncher in the lower weights like Pacquiao then you'll be one in the higher divisions--and that's exactly what's happend to Pacquiao. However, when he moved up even higher to fight David Diaz Pacquiao lost power and some speed--Diaz said Pac didn't punch hard, the same for Oscar delahoya but had fast hands. You can find quotes if you don't believe me. So Pacquiao largely was able to maintain his speed as he moved up in weight.
Also, The Ricky Hatton fight--who wouldn't get flattened out when you have ****ty ass defnese like Ricky. Honestly. He had his chin exposed; he was coming in fast with a low jab at Pacquiao. All Pacquiao had to do was to wind up and time Ricky as he was going in. Remember, people in this forum have been clowning Hatton's chin and saying it was never good to begin with--and was staggered with straight shots. Now, if crisp shots could do that to Hatton what more with wind up shots like what Pacquiao gave him.
It's called hard work and living a healthy lifestyle. Mayweather Sr. is just bitter in my opinion.Last edited by rao007; 09-15-2009, 07:43 AM.Comment

Medical exams before the fight complete with blood test are being done. Urine samples are taken after the fight. This is being done not only to check the physical fitness of every boxer but also to check if a fighter is taking any prohibited substance or drugs.
Some boxers were able to get away with roids at one point but eventually they get caught. Todays technology is way much better than before and that the chances of any boxer who would use roids or EPD and get away with it is very slim, specially in championship fights.
IMHO, a big NO, Pacman have been in too many championship fights and tests already, so lets close this thread.Comment
