Here’s the thing about the risk- the rematch with GGG is already signed. That suggests the risk isn’t believed to be as big as you’re suggesting at least among his team.

Im very surprised he’s fighting Bivol first. I thought of the names being kicked around Bivol would be the last fight- the payoff at the higher weighty.

Now it’s the 1st fight of a 2 fight deal where it seems the next fight is set.

I am not in any way suggesting Bivol is not a risk.

This along with Beterbiev is the toughest fight Canelo can take from 160-175, whichever way you look at it.

I’m don’t feel as strong about this as you do. I think Bivol v Canelo is a great fight. I just figured it would be last and then he’d fight the smith/bieterbiev winner to unify.

My concern about the next fight being signed is just my own issue.
