Comments Thread For: Arum Makes Fury-White PPV Predictions: 300K in the US, 1 Million in the UK

He sold 5K tickets when fighting fighters we haven't even heard of. Let alone in the US. But Wilder, as the American, was doing poor numbers in viewers and ticket sales. He couldn't even sell out a small arena. But in the Fury fights, that's when the ticket sales went up alongside the viewers and PPV.
The only time Wilder had a sell out was the second Fury fight. That's when the Brits went over in force.
AJ though, in his first fight in the US, and against an unknown opponent, did much better than your fighters did full stop. How many fights would they need to have to make that much money in tickets sales? Who has made that much money in ticket sales that is an American fighter?
I'm all ears.Comment

Don’t know about a million in Uk, because I think most have sky sports, but probably won’t be miles off that if promotion’s tight.
300,000 in the U.S where no-one knows Whyte? Fantasy landComment

Wilder had better viewership figures in the US than Joshua.

That's why him getting 50/50 against AJ was a legit consideration.Comment
