His win over Arce was a classic. That was a straight boxing clinic right there. I believe that was one the Pac vs Solis undercard

A year ago I was talking about how he was going to dominate Vic and now he loses to fringe contenders.

You weren't the only one. I wanted to see Mirajes vs Donaire so damn bad. But Vic was a man on a mission that night. I give Mirajes credit for getting up in the 1st round. Personally I didn't think he recovered from that kd. Vic was on his ass the entire fight

Probably not a bad idea, he doesn't seem to have it anymore to be a top fighter. He has charisma and can probably find other profitable ventures to follow outside of boxing.

I've never seen anyone fall off the top pedistal of boxing so fast.

P4P ranked, and three losing fights later, he retires because he has nowhere to go in the sport.

Wow, Thats sad he was ranked in the P4P ranking and been hailed has a pure boxer who people love to see, And he just seem to have fallen off so quick....Well good luck champ in whatever you chose to do next.

I don't think I've seen enough good Mijares fights, but the ones I have seen...I honestly never understood how he was so highly reguarded. The few fights I've seen him in he struggled with average fighters. I didn't think he had a chance with Vic, he just looked way too small and frail for someone like Vic. I don't know if it's a lack of Mijares exposure I've seen, or if it's because the only fighter at those lower weightclasses I've ever really paid attention to was Rafa. Eitherway, as much as people would talk about this kid, I kinda wish I caught some of his better fights.
