I've said the following earlier. I'm a Josh Taylor fan, but he defintiely got a gift tonight. Maybe Josh isn't so great as I've thought. Maybe he had a very off night. Maybe Catterall is very, very good.

In any event, Catterall got robbed.

I agree with all of this. I've rated Taylor very highly even before he won a title and was expecting him to win a comfortable decision but Catterall was too good last night. The one thing I will say is that it seemed that Catterall started to coast in the last 4 rounds and pretty much gave them all up except for 11 with Taylor getting a point deduction. It's never a smart move to coast in the last 4 rounds regardless of how far ahead a fighter thinks he is. We've seen JMM, Pac, ODLH and others get robbed for coasting far too early in fights they should've been well ahead in.

Regardless of that, Caterall still should've got the decision but I just think it's risky to coast too early in a fight when you're in the champ's backyard.

Lol, this unknown guy did it better against Taylor than all other guys combined so far.
