lets look at it from another point of view.

Boxing is business first, entertainment 2nd and sport 3rd.

Caterall won but he won ugly with all that clinching. Who wants to watch that going forward? Taylor is the proven entertainer - so he is better for business.

The business of boxing got the winner it wanted tonight. Taylor can make some big fight nights at 147 going forward and he better fight a lot better than he fought tonight. Catterall can fight for one of the relinquished belts.

Boxing in the gutter. That fight wasn’t close, Catterall out boxed Taylor, dropped him, landed double the amount of punches with a greater degree of accuracy. Horrific decision and the reaction from Taylor and his team was poor, he was clearly well beaten on the night.

Terrible fight and a terrible terrible decision. But taylor is in his backyard no way he looses that fight. I think we all saw that coming but hoped it wouldn't happen

both guys were clinching throughout but catterall landed the cleaner and harder punches plus he threw more. Sure Taylor might have more entertainment value but that is not we judge a fight .

Catterall won so clearly. Boxing gives itself another black eye, over and over again. It robs fighters of their hard earned victories after much sacrifice.

The corruption is so deep, how does boxing fix this? You can go back to when a judge gave Canelo a draw against Floyd.

Remember Whitaker robbed against Chavez, Oscar robbed against Trinidad, and Lewis vs Holyfield, to name a few among many shocking decisions.
always follow the money trail - the only way this gets sorted in with a judicial inquiry that has the power to investigate bank accounts of promoters, boxing commissions, refs, judges and casinos in Vegas. I'm pretty sure money is passing under the table

Did anyone notice that Carl Frampton was sat next to Barry McGuigan all night and both laughing and joking - like, wtf?
