He and Reynoso took this fight, and this is akwnoledge by Tim Smith of DAZN, Eddier hearn of Matchrron and Stephen Espinoza from Showtime.

No one put a gun on his head to make him take this fights, he could've took that Makabu bull**** fight, the dudes came to him to offer him these fights and they paid him more than 100 million to take them because that's what these guys think Canelo is worth.

The A side always takes the fights, no one makes them take anything they do not want. ¿Am I wrong?

Damn son,you & the salty gggroupies scorned have salt flowing through them veins,Canelos going to lose but yet its a cherrypick,GTFOH

Bivol is a very skilled boxer. Has size and decent power. Definitely canelos toughest opponent probably since ggg. But bivols last few fights he hasnt shown anything exciting or special. Nothing to show he can beat a fighter like canelo. I really hope bivol comes ready for a tough tough fight. Will see if bivol has that dog in him because if he does i think he can have a chance make it a very interesting fight

He’s the biggest threat Canelo has faced in 4 years. As for the ggg trilogy, a 40 yr old inactive Ggg is another case of canelo minimizing risk. Not sure what he has left but I’m sure he’ll at least put up a better effort than his recent opponents did during his run at 168.

If Bivol was dangerous they would not have chosen him. He is not an easy fight but he is a decision machine, who has gone to decision his last 6 fights and struggled to beat craig richards. He is actually the easiest option next to a 40 year old GGG that he could choose. He dodged all the real dangerous fights with charlo, benavidez and beterbiev. He probably retires after these fights also imo.

Bivol is worrisome. He don't show any emotions when he gets hit hard. He will not crumple after brutal bodysuits. He has fast accurate handspeed and he does real damage with his power shots. But he is young and may wither on the night.Triple G should be OK and easily managed.

If Canelo fights Bivol the way he fights Kovalev I can seem him losing the fight - he just wasn't active enough. I'll give respect to Canelo though he is finally stepping in with what I'd describe as a "real one", hopefully he enters the fight clean with no assistance from foreign substances.

I have a feeling this fight could turn out to be a stinker - both have styles which don't gel; Canelo will be waiting for counter opportunities and Bivol will be fighting disciplined and cautiously.
