They're putting this on PPV. Why are we paying for DAZN?

How exactly is it a cherry pick? One of the longest current reigning champions in the sport, plus he's a weight class above Canelo. Something else, did Bivol outclass Smith, yes. But, did Smith hit Bivol with a right hand from hell and almost knock him unconscious, also yes. Bivol is not invincible.

Huge props to Canelo for taking the Bivol fight. Could Charlo, Benavidez or Andrade move up and beat Bivol? I doubt it. Bivol is the toughest test between 160 and 175 except for maybe Beterbiev.

He's the #1 or #2 best light heavyweight. Canelo shouldn't even really be fighting at 175 lbs but he's challenging himself regardless.

It's time that some of these baby nuts fighters start challenging themselves even half as much as he has.

That's why he refuses to fight any black top contender today. And even when andrade and Charlo say they will move up in weight to him him, he still goes with Bivol -- who is a bum--, and GGG -- who is washed up. Just fight somebody goo and in their prime canelomeat other than some over hyped euro bum
Shut up already. The only close fight was with Floyd and Canelo was dehydrated, fought at a catchweight, and still did enough to win. Canelo blew the other guys out. None of those were close. Grow TF up and stop getting glory for other people’s accomplishments you pathetic old man. You make me cringe

                Exactly.

And the fact is that Canelo fought Erislandy Lara at a time when no one else wanted. Despite being in a position where he didn't have to face a high risk, low reward opponent.

Def in the minority here but I don’t see Bivol doing anything to Canelo. Guy fights a lot of fights at his own pace or forces guys to adjust to his fighting style. I feel like after 3 rounds of steady body shots, Canelo is likely gonna stop him towards the mid-late rounds. The GGG fight is gonna be easy money when it comes to the bookies. I just don’t know what round is Canelo stopping him.
