It goes both ways Fielding beats alot of guys on carnelos resume too. Pretty much everyone up until trout and then some after.

Idk I think golovkin is holding off on the fight (if sources are true) is cause he doesnt wanna give carnelo the satisfaction of giving him a legit victory over him.

Not really cause even though I think carnelo isn't great or an atg hes still a couple levels above murata and Munguia. And with golovkin about to be 40 and getting slower it gives those guys better chances to beat him.

But this whole thread was about the he said/he said.

In any event, GGG waiting on the smaller guys made the most sense. Floyd May and Canelo were the 3 superstars in the sport. Cotto was even a better fight money wise than anyone else apart from those 3.

Froch and Chavez Jr could have sold, but those guys weren't really interested in facing GGG at that time either.

Fortunately for GGG the Canelo fights came about. Good for him.
