Brook is way too orthodox to do anything meaningful against Floyd, prime for prime. We've seen that play out numerous times. You're not beating Floyd as a Orthodox counter puncher. Would have been fun to see tho
Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Kell Brook in 2014.

All these guys you say Floyd would supposedly dominate, he had a chance to fight in their primes. They were all welterweights from the same era. Everybody from Brook, to Khan to Margarito, Bradley, Winky Wright (154), Thurman, Paul Williams, but for some reason he managed to avoid all these guys but he sure will dominate them in fantasy fights.Last edited by djtmal; 02-23-2022, 09:36 PM.Comment

I actually think prime brook beats Crawford UD but loses to Spence and Thurman due the disparity in power and strength.Floyd wins.
Brook was an excellent talent at his best, but probably a bit orthodox and readable for Floyd. Kell was at his best reacting with his timing and Floyd wouldn’t give him much to work off. Pretty routine for Floyd once he figures him out quickly.
a Prime 2014 Brook beats prime Spence, Thurman etc. Floyd is levels above them
Crawford probably finds a way to beat Brook in a very good fight, prime for prime.Comment

Brook was/maybe still is a quality fighter. Better than a lot give him credit for, but even late in Mayweather's career, he would have had too much. Definitely competitive, but around R4/5/6 Mayweather would have Brook's timing nailed down. And whilst Brook is a hardish puncher, he is no one punch monster or anything like that. Would have been a good fight though. Much better win than the likes of Guerrero, Ortiz, Berto. Nash out.Comment
