John Riel Casimero remains the subject of an active legal investigation in the Philippines. An official complaint was filed on February 11 against the three-division and reigning WBO bantamweight titlist from Ormoc City, Philippines, who is accused of Acts of Lasciviousness and of being in violation of Republic Act 7610--Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
