That'd be a fun one. I'd pick Munguia to win.

Sign me up. Tough to pick but Jaime's size alone is a huge factor in his favor.

Good fight. This should be the standard we should expect for vacant titles.

Yep but first we'll see who Jaime chooses between Janibek and Adames. I'm good with either.

          He's got two good options.

Adames is with PBC and Alimkhanuly is promoted by Top Rank so the politics of this will be interesting to watch play out.

What’s the situation with him and Adames? Is that an eliminator or something like that?

Surely he’ll take the title shot, it’s a tough matchup but it’s definitely a winnable fight and he likely starts favourite.

Adames is an eliminator but it's rumored that Charlo is moving up. The Janibek fight is only for a interim.

Haven’t seen Alimkhanuly fight. Who’s a tougher opponent between him and Adames do you reckon?

Tough one. Janibek has some impressive beatdowns as of late (Brant and shopworn N'Dam) but I remember he struggled with Vaugh Alexander earlier in his career. Adames beat Derevyenchenko (also shopworn) but looked poor against Teixeira.

I think the Kazakh is the tougher matchup because I think his offensive game is a higher level than Adames. I think he'd better be able to exploit Munguia's defensive issues more effectively.

Id prefer Adames as they have had some back n forth. But dont mind either at this point.
