Fury's sparring partners would beat Whyte.

I think Whyte would beat Wallin but I agree the new improved version of Parker beats Whyte.
I think the intreague for me in this one is that Whyte really has to see this as his last chance for a world title, and that being the case are we going to see the best ever version of Whyte?
If so then we could have a hugely entertaining fight, I still favour Fury by a big margin but it could be great fireworks for a short time at least.
I am looking forward to it, its gonna be fury in front of 90k at Wembley in a domestic grudge match, biggest fight on UK soil maybe ever?
OK its not Fury vs AJ but its as close as we are gonna get, the crowds going to be going off, trust by fight night you'll be pumped denium

Douglas would not school Whyte… Haha! He was barely a top 30 guy in that 80s era of coke head & drunk contenders. That is why the belts got passed around like the highschool tramp. Tyson losing to Douglas was nothing more than the greatest cherry pick gone wrong. Another one of those magical top 15 rankings Don King gets for his fighters to justify a cherry pick (See Bryan’s most recent opponent via Don King influence). I’m near 50 years & i started watching HWs in the mid 80s when I entered my teen years. Back then too young to know much about the outside activities of boxers but as the years went by I learned. He beat a troubled Berbick then a novice in Oliver McCall before Tyson. He had already been knocked out a few times by Big Mike White (was 6’10 i believe) & Tony Tucker. Looking back I guess the McCall win was decent but at that point McCall was still unknown.
Mike Tyson never got bloodied up by prospects or dropped by unknown names in his entire life ,Douglas was a 42 to 1 underdog , Whyte is a 6 to 1 underdog because Furys not or never will be of a Mike Tyson caliber outlook ,one can say Buster Douglas on a good night would school Wilder and that’s who Fury lives off of right now if you know your boxing .
No one of logical thinking is going to be shocked if Fury loses , won’t hit the air waves world wide or cause a rift of somehow an unbeatable guy was defeated ,most boxing insiders know Furys beatable the question is who can execute a solid plan and stick with it ,Wallin was close and he doesnt have the power of Whyte who brings a rough pressure style and is 250 pounds .Last edited by joe strong; 02-23-2022, 06:52 AM.Comment

Douglas had one of the best jabs ever and almost beat Tony Tucker another big unit who gave Lewis a run for his money well past his prime if that’s a drunk contender you are unfamiliar with the very good solid boxers of the 1980”s . Wilder wouldn’t know what to if guys like Douglas with that 83 inch reach threw jabs in his face he’d panic ,he was baffled with Washington and nearly dropped by Furys jab . Wilder has got you guys brain washed he wouldn’t be nearly as effective in that era .Douglas would not school Whyte… Haha! He was barely a top 30 guy in that 80s era of coke head & drunk contenders. Actually I should say the media , Wilder look foolish in some fights against power jabbers , Holmes , Ruddock , Carl Williams, Thomas , besides Tucker and Douglas are just some guys who give him many problems. He may win some but he wouldn’t be the menace he’s portrayed today because he wouldn’t get away with it and he’d have a great underrated jabber ever Mike Tyson that would embarrass him in that era too.
Whyte is much more capable of handling tougher challengers then Wilder ,he has a very good jab and uses it so that’s an entirely different topic ,you won’t last long against boxer punchers if you only have a right hand and Ortiz is maybe the only one he fought and he’s never been much in the division then you have fury who isn’t a boxer puncher but mugged Wilder anyway simply because he was bigger then him and used a simple jab .Last edited by REDEEMER; 02-23-2022, 03:53 PM.Comment
