Ask Floyd. He is the one who ducked him by cherrypicking not just a c fighter, but a shopworn c fighter named Andre Berto. Obviously there was something they didn't like.

Thurman got his ass kicked by an over the hill Pacquiao.
you could insert any fighter that floyd ducked into that sentence, but floyd didnt like to fight guys like thurman. he preferred the slow guys, but not too slow like margarito. a moderately slow guy who wouldn't try too hard

How is Thurman going to "distance" Floyd when Floyd has a longer reach, is just as fast, and has a better jab?

Floyd hits Thurman with counters all night long.

Thurman's nowhere near as fast as Judah or Pacquiao.

How's Thurman going to beat Floyd, who's just as fast as him, has a higher ring IQ, and has a 3 inch reach advantage?

Thurman couldn't beat an over the hill Pacquiao, and went life and death with Porter and Josesito ****ing Lopez, but somehow he has a chance against Floyd.

Personally, I can't see how Thurman would win more than 3 rounds against Floyd.

Thurman also held two of the three belts and was Floyds mandatory for his belt.
Maybe we would have a better idea had Floyd gave him a shot instead of cherrypicking a shopworn c fighter who we already know did absolutely nothing

Floyd wouldn't have gotten any credit if he beat Thurman, and you know it. People would be saying that Thurman was too young for Floyd.
