Couple of issues here. Firstly, Reynoso has a stable of fighters, including Canelo. Canelo is the biggest star in boxing, and also the most active, with four title fights in a year. He doesn't get Reynoso all to himself. So for me, if Garcia wants Reynoso all to himself, this just truly shows his attention seeking nature. Does this kid think Reynoso should drop Canelo and the others for him? . Secondly if he feels he needs a trainer all to himself. This for me is self acknowledgment, even though it wouldn't be admitted, that he has plenty of flaws. That he needs a trainer that can work on him and only him means there's plenty work to done, as this kid is far from the special fighter he seems to think he is. I suspect he feels more for the first scenario, but I think both are applicable here.

Could see it from training he didn't wanna be with them..

it was a clash of styles. Reynoso wanted him to fight like Canelo but Garcia build in hus respective weight class is not like Canelo.

Garcia is tall for his weigh class menawhile Canelo is stocky and short. I could tell from watching Garcia training with Reynoso he didn't like it.

Anyway I don't see Garcia going too far as I don't see the mental toughness in him that is required for elite fighters

Wasn't he the guy who took a break from Boxing? I don't see any of the other guys in the stable complaining. Garcia basically wants a yes man as a trainer.

In other words he needs more attention than Reynoso could give him. He needs a pat on the head and a shoulder rub. Dude is the epitome of what's wrong with our country. Go whine on IG Cryan Garcia. ❄️

              This 100%.

Lets see how hos career goes from here. If I was a boxer in Canelos camp I would soak up every minute.

I have a minority opinion here that dovetails with your own PPM. Garcia explained his reasons and imo they are rational. There are a lot of great people to work with in boxing that are not famous. I don't see a downside to Garcia's decision... He can always go back, he did not leave under bad circumstances.

Garcia is young and a young fighter you really want to wtch carefully because bad habits take much more time to unlearn than a careful attention to detail, doing things properly coming up. I do think young fighters need more time and energy because what you teach them is foundational. If Goosen can spend time correcting, and teaching... Instead of just overseeing, it is a big difference.

How do you know? Do you know Garcia? I mean in life... when someone does something that is not crazy and gives a rational explanation as to why, we usually do not say things about them we would not say directly to their face... But on the internet any idiot can make recriminations that are absurd.

The kid is of his generation... and no we will never get fighters like Lamotta coming up these days... But the kid is also unbeaten and wants to learn. He feels he needs more time, to correct defensive things, etc... whats your problem? Does it sound like he is a raving lunatic? Like he is leaving his other gym because no one liked him? Come on...

Oh... and crybaby? when was the last time you laced em up and got hit in the face? lol.

Hectari, I respect you most of the time but Mental Illness is a Disease. See Webster’s for the definition friend, might open you up to more knowledge.
