Khan has taken some worrying punishment over the years

I used to mock him quite a bit for his chin but you have to credit his warrior spirit.

But he's taken worrying worrying punishment. The Prescott decimation, Garcia brutal punches after the first knockdown, even Maidana gave him a pasting (his best win and his best performance imo, peak Khan there), the Canelo near-death experience, and last but not least the Brook battering. I've probably even missed some pastings which is worrying.

His speech isn't as coherent as it used to be either and he's only 35.

I hope he's okay. His team have been quite unethical and greedy, haven't done things in his best interests, they just saw ££$$$£$ and milked him. Whoever gave the Canelo fight the green light should have been fired, that was the most ridiculous mismatch I've seen since Garcia Salka.

Watch highlights of Khan vs Maligniagi. Check out the speed. I have to replay many times to see the punches because they pass like flashes.

Then watch Khan vs Brook. Slow as hell. He’s done, finished.

I don`t think he got any serious damage. All his big losses are by stoppage, we have seen him on canvas many times. Guys that stay in battle, going 12 rounds, losing the most of them, take much more damage.

Chin was always suspect but the ease with which Brook had him on wobbly legs was a worry.

Obviously he's declined as a fighter. Speed doesn't age well. I wouldn't put loss of speed down to a medical issue.

I'd like to see him retire. That was a good short left in the first round but it did more to him than it should have.

He doesn't usually get ko'd by 1 punch though. It's a big KD and then a lot of accumulation afterward. Even some wins like Samuel Vargas were brutal.

You guys getting soft? Last night was freaking awesome. I only wish I could’ve watched it with that douche bag Flatline. That would’ve made the night even sweeter.

I felt the same way watching that match. He was just so slow. I didn't see any of the hand speed from his youth. And his chin has gotten even softer. While he's always had a chin problem, he was at least able to handle some heavy shots from a monster like Maidana back in the days, yet now he's getting rocked by jabs. It's time for him to call it quits and retire from the sport.

Seems like your confusing "warrior spirit" with ego.

Only times he actually held in there were against maidana and Garcia before being stopped. He straight up quit against Crawford and got ktfo silly against Prescott and carnelo before he was able to show heart.

well he was on bambi legs the entire fight with brook and as much as its fun to make fun of it, its really no laughing matter because being wobbled means you just took brain damage, atleast temporarily, so that now your coordination is affected. and he took punches the whole fight in that state, the more of them you take the less likely the brain is to fully heal.
