That's right. All Brook and the rest of the boxing world have to do is watch Crawford VS Brook. Brook got rattled and then eventually stopped after getting hit with just a power jab.

It took less than a minute to see how to see how this fight would end.

The first solid power shot Brook landed, Khan's legs were already shaky.

Usually I never read much into it. Many fighters supposedly looked nervous but never mattered in the ring but this time it was clear

it was the fight Khan ducked for years, his own dad said on YouTube he was offered to fight Brook but took the Canelo fight. His own trainer Hunter said he won’t fight Brook

he may have fought better fighters like Canelo, but he was always more afraid to lose to big rival Brook in front of the British public. His nerves on his way from the dressing room was the realisation it was going to happen. The fight was over then.
Yea I missed the ring walk and just saw it. It was clear as day.

Yeah, it’s funny, I was sat with my missus who is from another country and has no real clue who who Khan or Brook are because she never followed boxing and even she said when Khan was walking from the changing room “his face, he looks like he’s being lead to his death”

Khan battered as Brook had said....period.
Kell , if he decides to fight on should leave Eubank jr. out ...Jr. is far too big and doesn't deserve F.A. .
Kell should put little Benn to sleep and stop that silly little mouth from becoming anymore like Amir Khan!

After losing to Lamont Peterson, he hired Virgil Hunter and had 5 impressive wins in a row of which 4 were against former world champions including Devon Alexander + Luis Collazo. He then decided to fight Canelo and get his fragile chin decimated (Virgil Hunter strongly advised him NOT to fight Canelo) when Brook was available and had just recently become the champ after beating Porter. Imagine if he’d fought Brook back then, he would’ve made loads of money and had a much better chance of winning then tonight as his speed against Alexander was blinding and his chin was still holding up (before Canelo destroyed it permanently).

Basically, he’s only got his own ****** ego to blame for choosing to fight elite fighters like Canelo + Crawford who he had zero chance of beating from the outset. Khan’s problem is that he thinks he’s a top p4p fighter hence why he decided to train with Freddie Roach who trained Pacquiao, Virgil Hunter who had Andre Ward and now Big Mac who trains Bud. However, he is anything but and unfortunately training with the best in the business doesn’t automatically rub off on you.

In summary, Khan was always a world class fighter (Olympic medalist, world champ + unified world champ) and has beaten plenty of other decent former world champs e.g. Alexander, Malignaggi, Barrera, Collazo, Judah, Maidana, Algeri etc. However, he was NEVER top 10 p4p material but unfortunately his ego couldn’t handle that which inevitably led to poor match making and left a messy end to a once promising career. The same goes for Brook who beat Porter but always fell short against the top p4p stars like Golovkin, Spence & Crawford.
Khan’s run with Hunter was great matchmaking. Barely.

He looked awful vs Julio Diaz. Dropped and almost lost in his own hometown. Scorecards of 114-113 and such. All 12 rounds were a struggle for Khan. It was tough to watch.

Almost every power punch Algieri landed was wobbling Khan.

Collazo? Molina? I have no input on those two wins. I can’t believe they would even be acknowledged by anyone who follows boxing.

Alexander can’t punch. So it doesn’t matter that Khan’s chin withstood his punches. When you put Khan in front of a non-puncher, or an older fighter who he can outbox and outspeed, he looks like a beast. Like vs Billy Dib.

Alexander was a decent fighter from the late 2000s to the early 2010s. His limitations were exposed by Bradley, Matthysse, Kotelnyk, and Porter though, before he fought Khan.

The Canelo fight was ill-advised, but his run with Hunter after the DSG TKO loss wasn’t fooling anyone. The fact is, when Khan steps up, he takes L’s.

              It’s not a trainer thing.

Khan has been eating canvas since the start of his career vs Limond, Gomez, Drizlane. Prescott just merely joined the club of those who hurt Khan. He wasn’t the first.

Khan being portrayed as some super boxer in his prime or with the right trainer, is hilarious. The guy has been laid out with like every trainer he has trained with, and in every weight class. Canelo didn’t even do anything out of the ordinary to Khan. Prescott and DSG had already done that.

Okay, maybe we have different definitions of world class so let's look then. You tell me which world class fighters he's beaten at the time of boxing them. Last 22 fights since like 2009

                Kell Brook/ lost tko
                Billy Dib/ win
                Terence Crawford/ lost ko
                Samuel Vargas/ win
                Phil Lo Greco/ win
                Saul Alvarez/ lost ko
                Chris Algieri/ win
                Devon Alexander/ win
                Luis Collazo/ win
                Julio Diaz/ win
                Carlos Molina/ win
                Danny Garcia/ lost ko
                Lamont Peterson/ lost
                Zab Judah/ win
                Paul McCloskey/ win
                Marcos Maidana/ win
                Paul Malignaggi/ win
                Dmitriy Salita/ win
                Andriy Kotelnik/ win
                Marco Antonio Barrera/ win
                Oisin ***an/ win
                Breidis Prescott/ lost ko

The only good win was Maidana. Everyone else that he fought was past their primes or never world class to begin with and only okay wins. If he's world class then every contender at 147 in the past ten years are world class. Who did he beat at the weight class exactly? Barrera was waaay past prime and retired two fights later. Malignaggi,Alexander,Collazo, Zab were okay wins but Zab lost to Malignaggi and Danny in 2-3 fights after, Kotelnik had a win against Maidana but lost to anyone else of note, Collazo has lost to every good fighter he's faced, Algeri lost to everyone etc! He's been at welter or above since the Diaz fight and that was in 2013, he's just not good since moving from 140 and wasn't that good there either. Brook, Garcia Porter, Thurman, Brook have faced waaaaaay better comp at 147.

He's not world class for fighting a few decent guys at the right time(Barea&Zab) when everyone agrees that those two would spark Khan if it's prime for Prime. Now that I think about it, Alexander only beat Maidana and lost to everyone else he fought of note. Maidana lost to everyone and only got credit for beating an overated Broner and Victor Ortiz but he had a good showing vs Floyd I guess.

nothing about him says world class besides his chin and 1-2 hand speed and the chin part is a bad thing.

The only surprise to me was how Khan looked so incredibly slow. I didn't see any of the lightning hand speed from his prime years. Just go watch any of his fights from back in the early 2010s, and the speed difference is like night and day.

And his chin has gotten even softer than ever. While he's always had a chin problem, he was at least able to handle some heavy shots from a monster like Maidana back in the days, yet now he's getting rocked by frickin' jabs.

It's time for Khan to call it quits and retire from the sport. Go enjoy his retirement money and spend time with his family.

                    World class = World champion

                    That's the only objective definition.

I don’t think the weight drop and 5/6 week training camp helped brooks chances at all they were slim to none already because Crawford is that good but the short training camp and weight loss for sure played a key factor of that fight being decided just my opinion though!
