That Namus was a world champions really speaks volumes about where female boxing is. I understand it was a short notice assignment for her so perhaps she’s better than that performance. But it was clear that the Scouser was light years ahead of her in talent

A complete set up to ensure Jonas got a belt. She failed at 130 to 140 where the quality is good. Shocking fight that should never have been sanctioned.

That's why Claressa Shields erks so many bragging about beating these ladies. Not only does woman's boxing in general lack talent but the upper divisions (154 and up) have absolutely nobody.

Nah, that’s about a whole lot more than just talent pool sir

Namus was coming off a loss, had lost 2 of 3 fights going in, and has only won 1 fight since 2017. She's also 2-7 career in world or interim world title fights, 23-0-0-1 in non-title fights.

The fighter you saw this weekend was a washed up shell of what she used to be. Not that she was ever an elite talent, but she was legitimately good several years ago.
