I like Kambosos and would’ve liked to see him defend his belt multiple times, but if he fights Loma, his reign will be short lived. He will get schooled so bad, I doubt they’ll exercise the rematch clause. Props to him for most likely accepting this fight and fighting the best. Wish his mentality was shared with more boxers.

Don't be surprised if Lou Dibella pull a rabbit out of his hat and announce Gervonta 'Tank' Davis as George Kambosos, Jr's next opponent. This fight is being delayed for a reason. If he was going fight Loma next then we would have heard an announcement by now. Moreover, I don't believe his next fight will convene in Australia either. It'll probably take place here in the states; Preferably in Las Vegas.

?! you realky think someone would walk away from a minimum 2M and not take the rematch. Kambosos could pull a Golata or an Oliver McCall after running and slippung for 4 rounds and retire a very happy man. Highly regulated leagues have teams tanking for draft picks...this is boxing...

Kambosos is going for the biggest payday, cant really blame him.

Even though George beat Lopez who beat Loma, I can't see him beating Loma.

I think Lomachenko would beat Lopez in a rematch. It was a great performance by Kambosos to win the titles, and I can't fault him for wanting a few more million dollars. The undisputed titles is not of great interest to him, I think.

Klimas is the one who didn't put rematch clause into Loma - Lopez fight, who didn't clear the WBC Franchise title conditions, who let Loma fight with broken shoulder and who actually dropped balls onto picking opponents for Loma! Klimas could have made Haney fight AFTER Loma lost all belts but he let Arum bury that deal.

Klimas is liked by his fighters.

Maybe I did exaggerate a lil lol but my main focus was on the mismatch the fight will be. Loma is on another level

How is this fight being postponed? It's only been three months since George won the belts. This potential fight with Loma is actually moving pretty quick in my opinion. It'll more than likely happen and it might be more appetizing for George too. Loma has has name value which is going to bring in a lot of eyes and money to an already highly anticipated homecoming for the Unified Champ. Loma has a bigger name than Haney or Tank, is more accomplished, and is older which also might be something George is looking at. I think the Loma fight happens because at the end of the day it's going to bring in more money for George. Not only that but if George beats him, Loma's decorated name would be added to his resume.

he never ducked haney. he fought lopez who was #1 and haney had never ever fought a top 10 opponent. haney and dazn refused to send loma an offer yet they sent kambosos offers which exposes them as frauds who were just cherry picking. also loma tried to fight haney after the lopez fight and lopez chose to fight linares so that tells you everything. big talk but a bluff

Good grief. Is there anyone in the sport more overrated than Devin Haney? Watch this guy's fights again. He is the most vulnerable of all of the so-called LW kings.
