Brook's Scars From Eye Surgery.. Should Khan Target These The Way Crawford Did? (PHOTO)

Crawford waited several rounds to time Brook's movement so that he could land a single hard punch on the scar tissue left behind from Brooks eye surgery. I think Crawford must have had the foresight to know that if he landed a good shot on that spot it could end the fight quickly. That's why, early on, that fight appeared to be so cagey and tactical. Brook was waiting to counter Crawford, and likewise Crawford was waiting to counter Brook - but on that specific area of his face.

If Khan lands a decent power shot on this area at the edge of Brook's left eyebrow, I think the fight could once again end with Brook quitting. On the other hand, Khan doesn't quite have the ring IQ of Crawford, nor the patience as a tactician, so he might not be able to pull it off as effectively as Crawford did. And all the while he's trying, he'll be giving Brook opportunities to counter. But check out these scars, surely Khan's primary target?

The eyes and body will surely be the target. Not sure what Kell has left in him, but he's likely to be slightly drained and it's unclear what his vision is like now, particularly after getting punched in the face and potentially dehydrated somewhat.

Kell could really do with an early KO.

I don't think Kell will be drained because he's been training for 7 months so he had plenty of time to make the weight comfortably. Plus he can even weigh heavier than the limit and pay a fine - £100k for each pound he's over. He still looks sharp and fast in the media workout but he does have that eye liability. Might try to get the early KO by being explosive early. The longer he's in the ring the more chance his eye getting popped right on the sore spot. In the Crawford fight when he landed that hybrid hook / jab with pinpoint accuracy on the surgical scars, Brook immediately felt excruciating pain and crumbled. That memory must still be with him so he must be aware that if he gets hit there again the same thing could happen.

Those are not surgery scars, likely from years of fighting and sparring. Anyway, Khan may be able to cut him up but Brook is bigger, stronger and hits harder so it won't mean much.

Those are surgery scars. I watched surgery videos of orbital fracture. Brook's scars match up with the surgical stitches.

Brook was dehydrated to the limit thats why he had zero punch resistance, has nothing to do with his scars

this fight is at 149 while crawford-brook was a regular 147 fight. 2 pounds is better than nothing but brook really needs to be at 154

i still think brook will win, khan quit against crawford and all his wins since like 2014 are against guys with no power.

khan has a chance though if brook is looking sluggish if he can tee off on him. because crawford that made khan quit is still highly accurate and hard hitting so if kell isnt landing effectively on khan then he wont quit.

Khan doesn't have that kind of power.

But if Brook goes in there and tries to box, he's going to lose unquestionably.

Brook needs to go in and just head hunt with haymakers like Canelo did.

That's the 100% guarantee way of beating Khan.

Foolproof, guaranteed way to beat Khan. Go in, let him box, wait for your haymaker to land.

and you're an idiot who thinks surgery scars are fight/sparring scars. You have to live until you die with 2 iq. Poor guy.
