Perhaps Goosen is right, at his best Garcia would be a handful for anyone at 135 with his size and power. Problem is, Garcia will never be at his best, he's more interested in becoming a social media star and not a great fighter. To become a great fighter your attention needs to be 150% completely in the gym, you can't half a** it in boxing and become great, and with his mental health as well, I believe we will never see how good he is unless he completely turns it around, but I would not bet on it.Comment

true, know ryan looks up to him as a role model, he even got tattoos to try and be more like himComment

Ryan does the same thing Khan does. Concentrate on speed and forgets about defense and doesn't move his head well.Comment

So lemme get this straight. If or when he gets beat it'll be because 'he wasn't at his best'? Ooooookay. Gotcha.
That said I do think the kid's a great talent, provided he can keep his head screwed on and stay focused. Can't say I think much of all the soical media bullshart but I guess them's the times.Comment

Enough talk. He's squandered opportunities with crybaby stuff. Who knows if he will drop out of a fight at the last second?Comment

A lot of people talk about the Luke Campbell fight. Here’s what we know about that fight:
a) he got rocked badly;
b) in the moments when he wasn’t rocked badly, he dominated and beat up Luke Campbell like nobody else had ever done before.
So there are two things worth noting, and it’s easy to just focus on only one of those two things depending on whether you like Garcia or not.
There is work to do, he has to get focused and get busy, he has to fix some defensive flaws. Does he have the talent and potential to dominate 135? You bet he does.Comment
