I keep reading posts from PBC fans complaining about Haney
being mistreated and all this playing victim nonsense.
Yet I can't find any answer from them why PBC don't want anything to do with him.

Yeah, I hate it when grown ups in their 50s play victims.

Boxing has always been bifurcated: We have those who want glorified tough man contests, vis a vis those that prescribe to the doctrine of the "sweet" science. When Ray Robinson uttered 'Boxing is the hurt business' there may have been some understanding of complimentary aspects: For one guy to "hoyt" da utter, the other guy should be able to avoid the pelting! And I think for many moons this dialectic served boxing well...not perfectly mind you... We always had fighters like Charlie Burley who were just too good at not being harmed. Yet there was the never ending spectacle of the presser, the puncher, versus the boxer... so what happened?

If you look around today we seldom see real pressure guys... For example, Take haney's division. The Pit Bull is exceptional because he is a pressure fighter. The rest of the guys are boxer punchers, none with real elite power. I know Tank can punch, I just do not consider him an elite puncher. So, at the end of the day, who does Haney match up well against? Maybe Cruz...

best answer to this madness would be a tournament like they did for the super middle weights... Get everyone together to create fans.

99.9% of the fighter owned "promotional companies" are nothing more than a banner on the light grid and an "in association with" credit from the announcer. Simply for vanity and tax purposes. Very few of them ever take the financial risk and actually do a show........

PBC fighters having promotional "banners" work for them.
They most likely get some percentage. They are not signed with any promoter, if you've noticed.
