How many PPVs would Mayweather VS Pacquiao do?

heh yea a beast among heavyweights..i don't know any (non)boxing fan that wouldn't appreciate that tyson flick.

exactly my thoughts. i couldn't recall a significant historic fight since the whitaker/chavez bout. a fight the boxing community will enjoy as much as the casual fans. shame whitaker/chavez weren't as globally recognized to the mainstream then as to pacquiao/mayweather now.

anyways i didn't think that mayweather/de la hoya had the same anticipation of this build-up of a pacquiao/mayweather. however with the state of the economy i doubt it'll surpass 2.4 mil.

I initially thought about Delahoya-Trinidad. both guys were top 5 p4p. But neither Floyd nor Manny has Oscar's drawing power.

I went to Oscar-Tito. Vegas was packed with young Mexican girls. These guys don't have that dreamboat image.

The recession is not getting worse. We are pulling out of it and the consumer confidence index is improving.

Housing market has stabilized, and the stock market has bounced back considerably. Unemployment remains the bugaboo.
