Comments Thread For: Fury: If Joshua Does The Rematch - Usyk Will Stop Him This Time!

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is still having serious doubts that Anthony Joshua will move forward with a contracted rematch against WBO, IBO, WBA, IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk. Last September, Joshua outboxed Usyk over twelve rounds to capture the unified crown.

I tend to agree with Fury, Usyk seemed to be willing to avoid a ko, but now he should go for it.

Fury taking a lot at the moment.

That usually means he has no intention of fighting.

We'll see. If one of the fights is going to fall over, my money would be on Fury v Whyte.

Usyk beat Joshua hands down so there really isn't any need for a rematch but as we all know they put a rematch clause in as they always do! That won't save Joshua who was nearly stopped the first time. Joshua will try to force it more this time as it's proven to be his only option , he will make even more mistakes so Fury is right ...Uysk by stoppage.

            Who?

Klitschko contractual rematch when he retired rather than fight?
            Pianeta?
            Seferi?
            Wilder as a challenger?
            Schwarz?
            Wallin?
            Wilder as a challenger?
Wilder after being dragged through court?
Whyte after requesting an unusually unfair split to go through with purse bids?

They are his fights in the last 7 years. He's fought once in the last two years since becoming champion. And they had to take him to court to drag him in a ring.

Who were the boogeymen he willingly fought?

It could be true, Joshua is very chinny for sure, and Usyk could ko him.

Usyk is that kind of really good technical fighter, not flashy, isn't Mayweather smooth. Neither is he explosive like the other great cruiserweight who became heavyweight champion, of course Holyfield.

But Oleksandr is a a really outstanding boxer at that weight. I don't think he can beat Fury but he could beat almost every other heavyweight out there.

I wonder what was Fury's prediction for Joshua vs Usyk I?

But Fury I think is always quite astute with his predictions, is he?

You never really know the angle Fury is trying to create with such a statement, sometimes what he is saying 'Has ulterior motives'.

These are all a part of the games Tyson Fury plays.
