      Cotto Vs. Pacquiao easily.

Marquez would be at 142-144 while Floyd will be at 148-150 at most. That's "only" 4%.

Cotto on the other hand would weigh at 159+ as he had done before. Pacquiao though has not weighed above 148.5 yet and has not shown any desire or change in training program that he'd add more mass. Cotto would easily have at least a 7% mass advantage.

What gives the impression of Marquez Vs. Floyd a "mismatch" or a better "size advantage" is that Floyd doesn't show any vulnerability that Marquez can exploit aside from the rib injury while Cotto has shown that he can be caught and hurt by a leftie in Judah, who only weighs 147-149 on fight time. If Judah can do it, so can Pacquiao on a more sustained manner.

Add to that the fact that Pacquiao has at the very least shown proof that he could hurt fighters in the the 140+ pound divisions. While Marquez has shown that he could put to sleep KO resistant fighters like Casamayor and Diaz, none of them are regarded as big, strong lightweights since they only come at a fight time weight of 140, similar to Marquez/Morales' fight time weights at 130.

The thing is Mayweather is a lot more skilled and an overall better fighter than Cotto. To be honest skillwise, they are in different leagues. This makes the size different even greater.

I'd say Mayweather - Marquez due to Marquez having never fought above 135 and having only had 2 fights there, 2 fights which wern't exactly the most comfortable of wins for Marquez. Whereas Pac has had fights at 147 and 140 and has looked great in both of them completely dominating his opponents.

I guess we would see on fight night what all these fighters weigh in before they enter the ring, Pacquiao,Cotto,JMM and Mayweather are all fighting at a contracted weigh of 144-145 on fight night they would all re-hydrate so it would tell us who has the bigger size difference.

The size difference between Cotto and Pac is more than the size difference between JMM and Floyd.

Difference is that Pac has proved himself at the higher weight classes while JMM has not.

Even Roach said they were having problems making weight below WW.
Is Juan Diaz a small lightweight?

Pretty obvious, the 4-5 lbs difference or the 7-9 lbs difference.
