Jacobs didn't do s* in the second half, normally he start to be more agressive in the second half like vs G or Canelo but here i didn't recognize him...maybe he was tired or not hungry...right decision or it could be a draw.Boxingmean

I had it pretty even, but once the whole fight was over, I realized Jacobs didn’t even even one moment in the fight where he really took it to Ryder, shook him up and rattled him, nothing.
So it was close, maybe a draw, maybe a Jacobs win….but Jacobs did nothing either. Ryder at least had some big hits, so whatever. Ryder wins, Jacobs is done. Who gives a damn really.Boxingmean likes this.

I haven't seen the fight but Rosado's reasoning is bo|locks
Firstly, he says it was a robbery then it was close. It can't be both, if it was close it wasn't a robbery
Secondly, he says Jacobs gets the close rounds because Ryder has to do more than Jacobs because he's a former champion. That's ******.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a close competitive fight that goes to the scorecards and no ****** MF crying robbery because they had the other guy up a round or two. It's so boringly predictableBoxing fan1981 likes this.

The fight was a draw with an edge to Jacobs if the tie had to be broken. Neither of those guys looked very good at all. I actually wondered for a moment if Jacobs was feeling ill. Canelo will never fight Ryder but if they did Ryder would be in danger of being tragically hurt within 2-3 rounds.

If Rosado was one of the judges scoring the fight, then Jacobs would've probably won the fight.
The thing is that he wasn't one of the judges scoring the fight so Jacobs still lost split decision.
As I saw it the fight was very close, Jacobs won the first few rounds, but Ryder won the last few rounds.
You can't say that Jacobs gave those late rounds away, just like you can't say that Ryder gave the early rounds away.
They both fought to the best of their abilities, but Jacobs best days are behind him, Ryder's best days might be behind him as well.
Although they gave it their all I hate to say it but found the fight to be boring, so I didn't give it my undivided attention.
They're both decent hard working fighters inside the ring, but I just don't see either one of them winning a title at this point in their career's.
