Lol here comes the cadre of emasculated, jealous and scornful men intimidated by another man’s popularity with women. It’s almost like watching men bare their souls sitting on the Oprah couch disdainful over the life that was never meant to be.
Every Ryan thread is comedy gold.Comment

I mean, somebody help me out here...what exactly has Ryan done in the sport thus far? In my opinion, he's done absolutely NOTHING but his "brand" is a big deal?! He's truly missing some marbles and he's using one person after another's name to elevate his own....just like female.
Get out there and do the work, Ryan.Comment

The best thing Garcia can do for his brand, is to keep winning.
I don't really think it makes a big difference, or a game changing difference leaving Team Alvarez.
I see being around Team Alvarez at this stage of his career as a benefit. You would of expected Garcia to only leave that gym once he is champion 'He is not champion as of yet'.
Note: Just tried to look at Ryan Garcia's record on boxrec, and I was unable to. Reason being why I wanted to look, was because? I am unsure whether Garcia has some sort of title.

All this talk of marketing and branding by these Garcia’s doesn’t bode well for Ryan. I believe Ryan is finding out first hand that this business is a lot tougher than he imagined. He will be the first of these so-called “4 LW Kings” to hang em up, if Teofimo doesn’t beat him to it.Last edited by millcitymauler; 02-14-2022, 09:14 AM.Comment

You’re probably right about that. I actually think Goosen benefits more from this relationship than Ryan. He gets to hitch his self-promotional wagon to Ryan’s social media hype train for more exposure than he gets calling the fights with BK and Len-Nox. Probably no 5 am runs either.

Every boxer in the new generation wants to be the one Canelo passes the baton to. Garcia had an extremely rare opportunity but is obviously too short sighted to see it.
I know it's too early to know who would become the new face of boxing when Canelo exits but I'm hoping for either Tank or Virgil. I feel like Spence will be too old when Canelo retires.
Canelo is younger than SpenceComment

Would love to see it. Do you think it happens? Not this year. Garcia needs to get active and beat a notable opponent. And it'll only happen on PBC as we've seen what happened with them trying to make the Pitbull fight. I'm not hopeful but one can keep his fingers crossed.
