The slippery Cuban footwork set-up vicious body-shots and throat punches, that's what did it.

Throwing up was entirely due to Casimero and training, it had nothing to do with Rigondeaux unless the one punch he threw in the fight managed to hit him in the throat. I used to be a huge Rigondeaux fan up to the time he fought Loma and quit. If boxing is the art of hit and not get hit unfortunately Rigondeaux only cracked half of that one in the Casimero fight. He threw next to nothing back at all and spent the entire fight back peddling and holding. It was dreadful.

put it this way, if you put two Casimero type fighters in the ring, it will be an exciting fight. Put two Rigondeaux type fighers in the ring, it will be booed the entire fight. What Rigondeaux showed in that fight, he should be blacklisted by all promoters.
