Hearn says he doesn't need a cut....but that doesn't mean he won't take a cut. Not needing a cut he means he doesn't need to be involved. If Dillian wants him involved though...well...that's a business negotiation....and that will require a cut.

He was asked about 3 times in a row in the interview. He basically just said he'd be there for Dillian if he wants, not bothered a out a cut.

I'll always like Eddie for his 'build it & they will come' moment when he put Froch v Groves II in Wembley & filled it. He is a bit of a git otherwise though, it has to be said, & has an awful Trump-ian quality of self-like. My experience has always been that there is an inverse correlation between how much you like yourself & how much anyone else does.

Only 3 people don’t like Hearn two are also the biggest lying promoters who are Arum and Warren , Finkle is not really an entity outside Wilder involvement . I’m not sure about Al Haymon another shady character. If anyone has trump qualities it’s Arum not laid back Hearn , attacking woman’s boxing is a Trump thing to do trait wise . I’ve never seen Hearn get red in the face and rant that’s the other guys .

Richard Shaeffer , The Sauerlands , Alexandr Krassnik , Egis Klimas , David Higgins , Lou Dibella , Don King , apart from King these guys are probably the most honest guys in the business that are very good relations with Hearn .

Dillian Whyte is an Eddie Hearn creation. This is something that is and always has been a blight on the sport of boxing. These totally fake champion fighters with their stellar records and huge fan bases. They and their promoters pick out opponents they know they can beat whilst deftly avoiding any fighters that might be able to beat them. Occasionally the promoter gets it wrong, don't they Eddie, and their amazing champions get unmasked for the spuds they are (AJ v Ruiz and Whyte v that Russian grandfather) but Eddie always has that rematch clause to fix that.
Whyte is getting (if he takes it) an huge and totally undeserved payday and Eddie Hearn can take most of the credit for that. Whyte is not going to give poor old Eddie a penny of his lottery win purse and that is poetic justice. He has that legal team of his to support, Eddie.
Will he sign the contract? Maybe he has lost his pen, maybe his dog ate it, maybe his shoulder is playing up....again or maybe his spine has gone missing. It is not as if Dillian Whyte doesn't have form but I am sure "motor mouth" will have all sorts of excuses for his good mate, Dillian.
