Goossen has trained alot of fighters but I'm not overly impressed with him. I'm speculating but this feels like Garcia couldn't handle the environment of Reynoso gym and went looking for something more familiar and accommodating. Just feels like a red flag.
100 percent right ,maybe the gruelling sparring was the reason he took so much time off it obviously dented his confidence

He was dropped by Campbell and probably realised he was getting hurt by lesser fighters and it was only a matter of time before he got hurt like that in an actual fight

This kid a spoiled a(Ss) loser! I can’t for the life of me see why you would train with Gossen who is a pass great trainer of world class fighters, but as a trainer what have you done 4 me lately? I can’t wait til this mental case get his little a(Ss) kicked good, so looking forward to it, and it will certainly happen because boxing not a game and if you not % all the time go get a dam 9 to 5. Gervonta need to call him out at his own gym under the cameras.

I have a bad feeling.... He wasn't even with him long, add the fact Canelo criticized his discipline.

Have a feeling the new golden boy gonna unravel really quick might be the reason they took such a weak match up.

There are 3 possible reasons as to why this happens. Either he left because he’s an attention whore and didn’t like being just another guy in reynosos squad, or he left because he didn’t want to be another member on that team who got popped for banned substances, or they booted him because he’s an undisciplined bozo and waste of time.

I was hoping this wouldn’t happen. It says that this kid doesn’t have the discipline. He does have talent But that won’t be enough. Ask Broner.

The only thing this kid has done as a professional that I can tip my hat to him about is this!!!! He recognized he’s a pawn in a game of giants. I’ve been said him being so close to Canelo has nothing to do with mentorship, Canelo is looking for the next him to build a company on the back of like Haymon did on the back of Floyd and Oscar did on the back of Canelo. Reynosos are all all in canelos pockets sixteen ways to Domingo. I guess someone finally showed this kid he was about to become the big pawn in a fight to make others rich off his work. Gotta look at this in big picture mode. His contract is almost up with dazn/gbp.

That Reynoso gym was probably too tough for Ryan. When he hooked up with Canelo's crew I looked at Ryan as someone who actually might NOT be an entitled Gen Z'er, and instead, is someone who really wants to be nothing but a great fighter...Nope. The power of social media on these kids is overwhelming.

The only two guys I can recall him being in the corner for in recent memory were John Molina and Lipinets and we saw how their fights have gone.

seems huge like a step backwards especially for a kid as green as Garcia who’s still developing. Would’ve been much better off going to someone like Robert Garcia, Salas, Joel Diaz etc
There's no way in hell he would go to Robert Garcia. He has a big busy gym. Ryan Garcia is an attention seeker, and he won't be treated that way. That's most likely why he's left Reynoso. After the year he's had , Reynoso has probably wound back the special treatment, to see if he responds. Looks like he just responded.
