What advantages does Keith Thurman have if any?

He can get injured for the umpteenth time and avoid the inevitable KO loss.

The fact a lot of people write off Thurman let's me know short term memory is real. Ya'll must have really forgot. He was arguably the top guy at welterweight before his layoffs and the biggest draw out of all of them too. He came back and had a solid showing against a game fighter in Barrios. He went 12 rounds which actually helps him and looked dominant throughout most of the fight. This was after being gone for 2.5 years. Crawford's a great fighter and did to Porter what Thurman couldn't, but Thurman also beat Porter. I wouldn't sleep on One Time.

Idk what advantages Keith has at this point to tell you the truth.

And honestly he will need this attribute if he fights Crawford because at this point I think Crawford is a much better boxer than Keith, and he has power so I don’t think this ends well for Keith.

        Crawford late KO to me.

His layoff is an understatement lol, he was out for years with injuries and major surgery, he came back and looked ordinary and nearly stopped by a b grade Lopez then he lost to Manny and acquired more injury and had more surgery, then comes back against a JWW Barrios who was stopped by a LW and Keith goes the distance with him.

          Crawford will stop Thurman.

Valid points but I still want to see him take another fight before fighting one of the champs. He still looked like he prepared his butt off for Barrios and considering his string of inactivity and injuries, I'd say he looked good.

I think this would be a mismatch at this time, Crawford would probably stop Thurman, but it is hard to predict I concede that fact. What makes it difficult is the inactivity of Thurman it is hard to predict which Thurman shows up on fight night.
