very good fight especially at 175.

canelo's unification at 168 while impressive with 3 fights in a year, we knew he was going to beat those tomato cans there. they tried to hype guys up like plant, nobody is falling for that crap i knew canelo would knock him out.

we can see that canelo has chosen to duck beterbiev. he fought at 175 in 2019, its been 3 years later and he wont even say his name. acts like he doesnt exist. if he signs a 2 fight deal for this year then that is a full 4 years after kovalev and a 38 year old beterbiev if canelo even makes that fight. he could have fought a 34 year old beterbiev, certainly looks like a duck.

IF you know just little bit about boxing compare Bivols footwork, workrate, stamina, athleticism with pednelo. If you not delusional or pednelo fangirl you can clearly see Bivol as favourite in this fight

bivol is a hell of a fighter, its a very good fight. hes leagues better than those clowns at 168 that canelo butchered.

Bivol is good technically and does the fundamentals well but I don’t think he has anywhere near enough to beat Canelo. That’s my two cents anyway, what are your thoughts on this fight?
Bivol is everything you stated but the one thing he isn't is aggressive. It's almost like he doesnt want to inflict punishment on his opponents so he does the least amount possible to get the win. In some people's eyes it doesnt matter as long as he is winning but in my eyes that will eventually bite him on the a$$

From a technical standpoint, I don't mind this fight but we'll get to see if Bivol has some "DOG" in him because he'll have to go through the trenches especially if his legs start to fail him in the championship rounds.

            Yep!
Reminds me of GGG, if you are able to stand your ground in the middle of the ring, you have a chance (see vs Jacobs and vs Canelo 2)

He didn't won the fight at all. He looked like an amateur trying to catch butterflies. I agreed he would kill Lara now, but not because his boxing abilities. The Cuban is way past his prime and still around 154-160.

Bivol is excellent. I'd say aside from Beterbiev he's the toughest challenge Canelo could take from 175lbs on down, now that Golovkin is nearing his forties.

Providing there are no catchweight shenanigans, I won't be at all surprised if Bivol wins (or wins and gets robbed on the cards). In fact, for me Bivol's probably the slight favourite in this match-up.

Beats Bivol with ease but gave up 5 rounds to Plant, a similar style but worse fighter in most metrics. Lol.

Canelo 100% won that fight, I’m a big GGG fan and I’m no fan of Alvarez but he definitely beat Lara.

I done an RBR thread on the fight about 18 months ago during lockdown and there’s no way I can give Lara any more than 5 rounds.
