What are your thoughts on Canelo vs Bivol?

I think Bivol is definitely a credible opponent, he’s a champion in is prime, however I think Canelo wins this fight quite easily. Bivol is good technically and does the fundamentals well but I don’t think he has anywhere near enough to beat Canelo. That’s my two cents anyway, what are your thoughts on this fight?

Boring, probably won’t get as hyped for it.

Having said that, wouldn’t miss it for the world though

Would rather see Beterbiev or Benavidez. Bivol will get robbed on the scorecards...Beterbiev or Benavidez are morel likely not going to the judges and high risk, especially Beterbiev. I like Bivol, but the SD scorecards are already in...he's unlikely to KO Canelo.

If the fight is at 175, and if Canelo really beats Bivol easily, Canelo should be pretty highly regarded in your (or anyone's) book. In that scenario, he unifies 168 (with all clear/dominant wins) and would have clearly beaten two of the top 5 guys at 175 in Kovalev and Bivol. That would be extremely impressive.

His career would be an anomaly compared to any fighter I can think of - really good fighter with some questionable wins/losses at the lower weights, only to dominate the top fighters a few weight classes up from those 'average' performances.

I doubt the fight happens at 175/with no restrictions on Bivol. I think Bivol is too active for Canelo and I don't think Canelo will be able to hurt him enough to get a late stoppage like he did with BJS or Plant.

I do think it's possible Canelo fights him fairly even, even with no restrictions on Bivol. But I don't see a clear win without the cards being stacked in his favor. Bivol has a great workrate and Canelo doesn't. Unless Canelo can hurt him, you have to favor Bivol.

I don't see in what way Bivol can win. Canelo has much more power and is a better boxer. I think it's a decent fight, but honestly I'm 100% certain Canelo wins and wins wide. Golovkin, even now as a pensioner, still has that outside shot if he can land some bombs in the early rounds. I think Golovkin's stamina getting worse and worse will give him little chance in the later rounds, but if he comes out going balls to the wall from the off, I'd give him a bit of a chance even now. There is nothing Bivol can Bring that will trouble Canelo imo. I also think Canelo KO's Bieterbiev. Bieterbiev is too slow to land big on Canelo, and seems chinny as well. Nash out.

            - - 1 of a dozen fights Canelo could make decent $$$.

Low on the totem as far as ultimate paydays.

Great fight on paper but it doesn't really excite me, and not because of Canelo but because of Bivol. All that guy does is coast to UD victories.....it's like he doesn't have another gear. Benavidez, Charlo, and Beterbiev are fights that will excite anyone.

Either way I'm still going to watch. Credible opponent plus a belt at 175.

Will be very impressive if Canelo gets a clear victory over Bivol.

Bivol is as "BORING" as Andrade...I don't consider either boring by the way but it is hilarious that you got people who call Andrade boring but are calling for Canelo to fight Bivol

After Canelo beats him, just don't make excuses and I don't give a sh^t if Canelo Catchweight him, Bivol was just saying he would come down to 168 for Canelo so yeah STFU with early Excuses. It is funny people call for these matches then when these matches are signed, people will go quiet and just disappear

But yeah this fight I guess is Appealing to the Extreme Hardcores but outside of a very select few of us, Bivol doesn't excite any Casuals, they know him LESS than they did Callum Smith and BJS here in America

Bivol will outbox ginger for the vast majority of the rounds, and ginger will get a split decision.
