    Jacobs vs Ryder

How do you think this fight unfolds? Jacobs didn’t look great in his last outing.

Jacobs has the tools to win it but which Jacobs will we get? He seems unmotivated these days so I think Ryder fights him at the right time. I will pick Ryder on points.

I think they have a fight...but it will be nothing special. Ryder is just below title level...and Jacobs has probably reached that place himself. Jacobs could have had some decent scraps....but he got on the Hearn payroll and will become a ring filler ala Chisora/Allen from here on in.

I fancy Ryder to win mate. He’s the fresher, hungrier and more motivated fighter IMO.

Jacobs looks a faded fighter to me.

          - - 2 guys lauded for losing to a top champ ain't 'zactly compelling given Jacobs run and stink style vs Ryder limited natural attributes plod forward style.

Jacobs wins this by KO or wide points. Mark my words. The Great Nash has spoken. Nash out.

I'm indeed betting on Jacobs via KO somewhere in the final quarter, if anything because he's back to his old trainer (Andre Rozier) and I've seen him very calm and confident in pre-fight interviews. Technically speaking, he's on a whole different level than Ryder.

Of course, if the "I-just-don't-care-anymore" version of Jacobs shows up, then all of our visions will be rendered futile...

Jacobs at his best is on a whole other level to Ryder at his best. If we look at it from Ryder vs Smith, against Jacobs vs Rosado, then Ryder wins, but that's a very limited scope and selective viewpoint. Jacobs from his career top 5 performances demolish Ryder's top 5 performances, and then if you compare Jacobs at his best vs Ryder at his worst, it's an absolute beatdown, but Ryder at his best and Jacobs at his worst is still very competitive. Nash has laid down £700 on Jacobs to win by any methods and hopefully it will see him £400 richer come end of fight. Nash out.

I'm dispersing minor sums between some of the early rounds and those between 9th and 11th... Good luck in any case, to both of us!
