Like Arum said, there isn't much interest in women's boxing. They are predicting a slump in viewership so the are adding better names to the spot.

Eddie butt hurt about losing the Fury-Whyte purse bid to Queensbury/Top Rank & not getting one the biggest fights in UK history so he hates on other promoters fights it's the Eddie Hearn playbookComment

I guess it's misogynistic to put on a card if women are already fighting that night elsewhere...
Jake Paul now presented as somebody who cares about all women fighters, even though he's publicly bad-mouthed Claressa Shields more than anybody has.Comment

One of the worse scheduling situations I ever saw was how they made Canelo warm up for almost an hour in the dressing room while a UFC card was still running. That was a downright BS thing to do to Canelo and his opponent at the the time.Comment

I know what fight I’ll be watching and it will be Valdez-Stevenson. It’s a no brainer for any boxing fan.Hearn knows what fight people will be watching, thankfully the DAZN execs will make the smart move and be sure to air Taylor/Serrano first. He thinks Jake Paul being there is gonna be the reason people tune in, then is he not downplaying the women himself? He just looks like a crybaby and a hypocrite. Looks like the women dont move the needle, they need Paul to garner attention but it's so "historic!!" They strong women who don't need no man!!
What Bob said was harsh but true, Women’s boxing doesn’t move the needle and the only reason certain promoters utilise it is because it’s cheap.Comment
