I find it impossible to root for Katie, She Never Wants to do anything to transcend women’s boxing. She refused to even consider a mega Fight with Claressa Shields when shields was the one dropping down in weight!

She dragged her feet in talks with Serrano a couple years ago.

She’s had a Few controversial decisions go her way.

She’s now rejected this proposal for 3Min rounds. Never wants to leave her comfort zone. She’s an ATG, purely down to the lack of quality in-depth Fighters in women’s boxing.

But whilst she shares an era with shields, she will never be held in the same regard as Claressa. I can’t Stand Shields personality, but she fights and wants to push women’s boxing further and leave her comfort zone.

F**K Katie Taylor. I’ll never back her. Hope Serrano beats her even more now.

what a bunch of clowns bringing this up right at a press conference with contracts signed, just a cheap stunt by a bunch of not even sure what u would call them, i thought serrano and her team were displaying some class, she refused to go to the uk and pulled out of the last fight even tho eddie guaranteed her purse when taylor took a paycut, and gets this fight at home and still is complaining, shes right back to her dive self im afraid, she cant change, just get on with the fight and stop whinning for once, u got the fight and the titles right in your backyard ya douchbag

This fight is Marvin Hagler (Serrano) vs Sugar Ray Leonard (Taylor). Katie will be moving and Amanda will be pursuing. I think Katie is in trouble this time but she could pull it off if she is sharper & faster.

Katie robbed Persoon in MSG, there is a good chance Amanda Serrano will be also be robbed by Hearn's judges. Eddie has also confirmed his usual one-sided rematch clause for Katie.

This would be one (much needed) step towards female boxing being taken more seriously. A 10x2 round bout is basically a six rounder but with even more rest time. For a world title fight it's pathetic. Women's MMA is fought under the same parameters as men's so there are no excuses.

It definitely seems like a lack of confidence at this point and to beat all Serrano could be just playing mind games knowing the contract is signed and cant be changed just because they speak about it at a press conference. Taylor shouldve just responded with a hell yeah let's get it.
