the black american enjoyed their time when some very large countries on earth were not allowed to compete. this fight would be perfect example like lomachenko v "we genetically superior melanted doe" russell

Skill for Skill Mayweather is a superior fighter.

Defense, Inside fighting capabilities and movement are all attributes that Mayweather has better than Usyk.

Usyk cannot fight on the inside, and he gets hit a lot 'His defense is completely overrated'.

Don't get me wrong, he is a solid fighter but a few levels below Mayweather in terms of pure technical ability.

Neatly summing up the absurdity of the kinda P4P - or 'if they were the same size' nonsense. The skills and traits that work well for little guys don't necessarily translate as successfuly to the higher weights and vice-versa. No way of knowing whether a slowed down 230Lb Floyd would look like he was punching underwater or if a 135 or 147 Usyk would have the mental acuity to adapt to the quicker pace and typically higher volumes thrown.

Best you can kinda do is roughly, sorta, compare accomplishments but honestly comparing fighters at vastly different weighs or from different eras is a fools errand... sure it makes for some fun conversation but at the end of the day it all boils down to subjectivity.

This whole "this guy X vs X-guy-sized guy Y" debate doesn't make much sense. If you size a guy up or down then he stops being the same guy, their size has a huge part to deal with why they fight the way they do. It's like asking about who'd win between Naoya Inoue and Tyson Fury if Fury was a bantamweight.

What, you mean like "Honey, I shrunk the Kids"? Not denigrating your post my friend, it's just that factors relating to physics and physiology make such a comparison impossible. Take 5'5" 126 pound Willie Ped, blow him up to 6'3" 220, retaining his movement in the new spacial relationship, and he's a heavyweight that makes Ali look slow. Phrasing like "Which is a greater master of the art?" Or "Which is the more accomplished figher within their respective weight brackets?" would better seem to bypass the physical impediments of the question as it was phrased. Mayweather.

              Obviously Floyd.

Mayweather would never go life and death with bums like Bellew & AJ.

People just get hard over Usyk because he's got an Eastern-Euro name and moves around a bit.

Maybe Harry Greb but there is little tape.

A lot more than superior technical ability is needed to win a big fight. Look ar Rocky Marciano to see hardly any technical ability. Of course he fought only washed up guys with huge mileage on them, but he was still HW Champ, almost the worst in history..
