Okay gentlemen, time's come for the 2022 final announcements. Ain't been the greatest year in Boxing but I don't think it's been as bad as some folk would have it either and I personally certainly had a lot of fun with the Pick Em at least.... It's made a massive difference this year having the added assistance from Tatabanya with the regular updates to keep interest up and stop us losing momentum - especially over the summer months and of course MikeyG - this years esteemed and deserved winner - with his great work pulling together fighter footage to make researching the fights that much easier for everyone. My personal thanks to both of you and great work!

Also big thanks to the rest of the official CREW - NC Uppercut and Mammoth for your input and advice this year... although we seem to have lost asgarth somewhere along the way - can only assume real life happened to him as it sometimes does to all of us.

Always a bit of fun for me looking back over the tables for the year - taking little monthly snapshots of where we were at different times in the year, watching seemingly insurmountable leads like BLASTER1 had at the start of the year slowly getting broken down - watching other dudes like SUBZER0ED and MulaKO have their moments at the top then slowly get reeeled in in their turn... but behind all the drama at the top of the table there was a new and unheralded player unobtrusively piling up points with consistency and almost unprecedented accuracy throughout the year - the dark horse of 2022 who emerged in the final quarter as the clear front runner and who by the last few weeks of the year had built up an insurmountable lead....

So massive cong**** to the Newly minted and richly deserving 2022 PICK EM CHAMPION the legend that isMikeyG !!!

Just one final note - or maybe rather a request for you to consider.

I took over the bulk of the running of the Pick Em almost excactly 5 years ago - Mid February 2018 - and over these years I put in literally hundreds of hours of work voluntarily to keep things running just because I enjoyed it and wanted to offer something back to the site and the players after it'd been a kinda refuge for me through a few tough years IRL.

I've never asked for anything for myself - consider just doing it it's own reward in way - but if any of you should wish to show your apprecaition for the work I've put in these last few years in a more - umm - material kind of way I am currently trying to raise money for my local Youth Project by taking part in a charity White Collar Boxing event and by coincidence will be fighting in early February - almost precisely 5 years after first deciding to get involved running the Pick Em here...

Anyways.. if anyone could see their way to offering some support it'd be hugely appreciated
