Antananarivo and Tegucigalpa were also two of my favorites.

Nerdy, yes - how incredible that, as a kid, I used to remember most of the world's capitals, whereas now I can't even figure out the exact position of a country without looking at the atlas...

I'm liking Ouaggadougou more and more lol - because they all get abbreiviated and so you are Tata. If you'd have chosen one of the other two you'd be known as Ant or Tegu - whereas I reckon I'd just be known as 'O' - how cool is that. 'O'. Like M out of the Bond films but O infers mystical knowledge - as in ' the One' - now I'll get back to reality

I'm a traveling soul - have spent half my adult life outside the UK - but like you I struggle to keep up with countries and capitals - the bar-stewards keep changing their names, just plain changing them or even adding new countries. But I'd wager that not even one in a hundred Americans or Brits have heard of Antananarivo so you are doing just fine.
