    Looked shot to bits

He was never a world beater at his best but he certainly wasn’t a man would get a dropped by jabs

Still he has a bit of profile, so they could probably end up using him as a gatekeeper for younger fighters that they’re more invested in for the future

Williams was poor v Eubank, but he was so overly charged up for the fight that it just worked negatively for him. He had no control and walked into shots until that adrenaline faded mid-fight and he started actually thinking.

Having said that, he's obviously a level below world, but probably a good opponent as a 'gatekeeper' who's likely to lose.

He looked maxed out at 160, he should drop down down to 154.

        An embarrassing performance.

Not quite, I don't think people can say Williams was complacent.

I think Williams was actually quite composed, even after the knock downs. Nobody expected Eubank Junior to be able to throw, punches with disguise.

Nobody expected this, yes Eubank Junior has fast hand speed but? His offense for the most part has been straight forward.

The jabs, uppercuts, right hands which early on Eubank Junior was landing where disguised and quite technical.

Williams for me done, well staying composed and staying in the fight. But in part, he was only allowed to stay in the fight because Eubank Junior did not go through the gears.

The knock-downs made the fight easier for Liam Williams, because Eubank Junior knew he was miles ahead after 6 rounds 'Without the knock downs, he would of been brutally beat down'.

Definitely not complacent. He came to fight.

But he was overly charged up. We see this all the time with boxers. Very tense, angry, lack of respect. Often ends with a knockdown in the early rounds.

It was probably more to do with the home crowd, but he just had no composure until he hit the canvas a few times and realised he couldn't just steamroller Eubank.

As for Eubank, he was very calm and relaxed. That's what he has going for him really. Question is, what happens when he gets his face jabbed off again, can he turn it up? Last couple of fights he's looked like he only has a single gear and relies of the opponent to get reckless.

He was charged up, but technically did not really make any real mistakes.

Williams was cutting off the ring good, and his defense looked quite on point. It was just a complete surprise, the type of punches Eubank Junior landed.

Eubank Junior has shown zero evidence before this fight, of being able to disguise his punches 'And be creative'.

It was just those moments of creativity that caught Williams out, and Eubank Junior's jab 'Which Junior first started to use with more affect against Degale'.

I think Eubank Junior needs to go through the gears at elite level, interesting the way at 160 pounds 'He seems to not want to go through the gears'. I have put this down to him wanting to fight more economical, but it could be the actually weight, no idea.

Could just be how he is evolved as a fighter.

I think he's training that way with Roy, looking for counter shots. He could've had Williams out of there, Marcus Morrison too a couple of fights ago, but instead of going after them, he basically tried to beg them to come to him as he was looking for the counter.

I mean one thing is for sure. Billy Joe won't just walk in there, he'll be happy to stand off waiting for Jnr. Could just be two guys staring at each other waiting for a counter.

I agree. When fighters can out box him, and are not phased by his speed. He will have to revert back to going through the gears.

It was actually a good attribute of his, the way he would just spontaneously go ballistic for periods of time.
