I'm saying it right now....women's boxing will NEVER blow up until they either go to 12 three minute rounds so we won't have weak fighters like Katie taylor get protected by judges every other fight....or Jake paul is involved in EVERY WOMENS FIGHT. Anytime the so called GOAT of women's boxing Claressa shields looks like she doesn't even know how to throw a proper punch something is wrong with that.

And Katie taylor with her jabbing kangaroo style really is not any better at all. Pay attention to how these "champions" fight and tell me if you can tell the difference between them and the average amateur women boxer. Lol...its ridiculous they want a million dollars per fight.

Bob Arum is a bit of a fool, jerk, and bit out of date he hasn't been able to keep up with the time's.
Amanda Serrano versus Katie Taylor just might out sell Shakur Stevenson versus Oscar Valdez.
Serrano vs Taylor is an historical event, as opposed to Stevenson vs Valdez which is just an event.
The females will serve notice to their male counterparts that they have arrived on the big stage.

Look, it’s a good female fight , will they sell 20,000 on this fight alone , NO ..tv can make it look full in many ways ..giveaways putting a curtain across etc etc ..
nearly every big stadium show sells out purely on the main event , most people either only show up 20 min before or are in the bars until 10 min before the ring walk , everyone in the game knows so my guess is this will be smoke and mirrors . Taylor’s last few fights have been against old ladies or novices to make sure she gets this last push over the line and clever boxing fans in New York know the value of MSG and this show but does jake Paul ?

90% of sports fans care nothing about boxing. No one here cares about that 90% just like nobody cares about the 90% of boxing fans that hate women.

That's the truth. As boxing fans we are a niche. Check out the ratings for any ESPN or FOX card on cable television and look at the ratings. ESPN's boxing broadcast last Saturday finished #17 in the 18-49 age bracket. To put it into perspective, more men watched a Janet Jackson special on Lifetime than Top Rank's card.

Women's sports in general is garbage. They're below the level of amateur men.

Yet most of the guys here would get smoked by Sheilds if they stepped in the ring with her today. After 1min you'd be hugging her begging the ref to stp the action cause you had to spit out your mouth piece to breath lol. Most olympic caliber female athletes would smoke your @ss today in their respective sports.

Back in the days I saw a guy bully a girl, push her & ripped the earing/ear and she dropped him with one punch. Guys in bars throw bottles as they back away and girls just unleash punches no hesitation. Stay in your bubble, in some countries when couples argue in the streets people don't jump in cause it's a 50/50 fight lol. Even saw a women lift the front of an old VW beatle (yes engine in the back empty trunk up front) on a dare and she was a mother of 3 grade school kids lol...be careful whatvyou ask for...

It won't hurt Arum. For one thing, he was right. For another, he's already made his millions and he's pushing 90. There aren't any female boxers on the horizon who have the potential to be big PPV stars. This is just more virtue signaling by woke idiots who are afraid to call women's boxing what it is...a novelty that isn't bringing in a serious fanbase.

If you really believe that MOST guys in a boxing forum would lose to shields then I got a golden bridge to sell you bud...LOL....did you see her last mma match? The girl looked like some of the teenage beginners I see in our boxing gym. Its OK....you've bought the kool aid and think Katie taylor and shields are actually great fighters. Watching shields and Taylor embarrasses me as a boxing fan. Boxing is my first love and I've started watching mma regularly because I just can't take all of the frauds that are in boxing right now.
