This Haney fella is all about money now. (Who isn't?) He's hearing things from his adopted dad Eddie Hearn about doing it in the Middle East. Sounds musical $$$$$ notes on Haney's ears. Can't blame him, but he should be the last to deserve such for having done very little in the sport. Floyd Mayweather could not even get him to fight on TMT promotions because Haney is asking for too much money.

Loma is an easier fight to sell. Haney has to realise he isn't negotiating from a particularly strong vantage point. On DAZN on Saturday night, Haney sounded upbeat about the fight happening -- basically saying it was very close -- but his dad sounds like the Haney's are themselves providing some of the obstacles.

Go try and get the belt. Don't expect the champ to come to you.

As a fan the Loma fight is more exciting. Financially, I don't think it matters much, despite the buzz etc. Loma vs Lopez wasn't ppv and both were offered around 3M or 4M.

Fake belt Haney has no leverage, he either agrees or Loma gets his shot. Simple. I know you are not the brightest but Haney has no say in where the fight happens, he is so dumb that he is letting the WBC tax that a$$ for a belt that they have twice called meaningless. Keep paying those fees though.

I echo a lot of the sentiment on here. Haney is an excellent fighter but he isn’t a draw, he isn’t negotiating from a position of strength. Truth is, Haney is a bad risk/reward option for Kambosos, so I think the Kambosos camp could walk very easily if Haney doesn’t get the damn fight signed. Don’t blow it kid.

I want to see the fight, for sure over Loma because there would still be that belt out there. I really hope he swallows a little bit of pride and just make the fight any way he can. Secure his payday and his status if he wins. Now we are almost certainly looking at Kambosos/Loma.
