It's interesting how someone like Rhonda Rousey becomes one of the wealthiest MMA fighters in a combat sport where the top athletes earn considerably less than boxers. Women's boxing is still looked upon as a niche or a novelty. There isn't a deep enough talent pool, or charismatic or badass women to get fans interested. Women's boxing needs a Mike Tyson or Pacquiao equivalent to put it on the map and draw in the fans. Shields is a boring fighter and not at all likeable. A potential women's boxing superstar if going to have to possess the looks of a swimsuit model with a touch of badass and just the right amount of charm. She'll need to score knockouts against competitive opponents, not boring decisions or mismatches.

It's like people go out of their way to diss something they claim to dislike, just let the people who follow it worry about it.

It's to the point where when guys say they follow women's boxing people start saying stuff like they sit down with they pee lol ... When I think it's the opposite...

I don't watch basketball, so what's the point of complaining about it? Or dissing following the top player just to say "nobody cares about basketball"

These women fighters like all women athletes are always crying with woke bs about getting paid more like men. But men bring in way more dollars & usually subsidize womens sports because they can't draw flies to sh.

If womens boxing truly wants to be great they should start fighting in bikinis or thongs even(optional), they'd make 10x more money guaranteed,& their fights would become infinitely more entertaining because fans would get to see some tītties bouncing even if some women look like men.(as long as trans are banned ofc)
