I just re watchd it as well oddly enough and had Osca losing reasonably clearly by a couple of rounds. If Osca would jabbed more he could have potentially won that which shows me Floyd isn't quite as great as some belive, yet still clearly very good.

Pac's speed woulda beaten Osca if they're fight was a few pounds higher imo. He just can't deal with speed like that, and Freddies trained Pac so well that he ducks and dives pretty well, is reasonably illusive and hits you at odd angles. Not good for Osca at all so he'd still lose a decision a few pounds heavier.

I now realise the outcome of a Pac/DLH fight where DLH weighed his usual 154lbs would have been the same. DLH was not shot against Floyd but I had forgotten how diminished his skills were. He was barely throwing any shots at all in the second half of the fight, although his defense against Floyd's shots was pretty good - he allowed Floyd to easily tap him to the body and then come back upstairs with the right. I have no doubt at all that Pac would have produced the same results against that DLH as he did against the version that he fought. DLH showed nothing in the FLoyd fight that Pac wouldn't have answered with a devastating series of left hands that DLH simply couldn't block.

Just had to get that out there.
This is all true... Not many posters notice this.

And Flawless i know ur just being an ass but why is that so hard to believe? about calderon boxing their ears off. Remember is just training so their aim was a hitting him and not beating him and if its hard for a quick 108 to get him what would it be for a bigger guy with longer arms?
Floyd neutralized DLH's jab. Dlh didnt havethe energy to jab manny.

DLH that fought floyd would have killed manny

Floyd easily give DLH a boxing lesson and almost dropped him twice. hat fight wasnt a SD. it was an easy UD

manny wouldnt have done that to a 160lbs DLH...fact

DLH would have hit manny so hard his headwould have been knocked into the seats

"Everyone" is a slight exaggeration. Oscar's real problem is that he has never been good at fighting southpaw's, that's why he avoided them throughout most of his career, and that's why little southie's were beating him up in sparring.
