I’d be shocked if many bought this PPV! Thurman isn’t a PPV star, at least this wasn’t a PPV worthy fight…who the hell buys PPV these days anyway? I think the last one I bought was Lewis vs Tyson LOL! Too easy to watch fights for free these days, why spend the $70+ to line promoters pockets?

You think Thurman will beat him?

Best thing for thurman to do is fight again like mid year. Hes gotta stay active its the only way hes gona stay sharp. He looked good in the first 3 to 4 rounds but then he either gassed out got hurt or just wanted to pace himself because he was unsure about his condition coming off that long ass lay off. Only time will tell. I dont think he can beat crawford spence ugas boots but if hes on his game like he was 3 to 4 years ago he can at least give anybody a great fight

I don't need to comment on the fight I described it accurately 2 days ago.

What I DO dislike is the rotten , surprising habit of describing the rounds backwards from Rd 12 to Rd 1.

Which semi-literate ignoramus' ****** idea was this I wonder...? Very annoying to follow.. It's like wanting to sell your shares but instead of selling at what you can get , you follow the market down , and end up by giving them away...STOOOOPID...11

But, didn't put him down, much less out. Maybe it's the ring rust. Maybe the 10oz gloves. Maybe Barrios can take a punch better at 147. Or maybe Keith's "One Time" vaunted power isn't there for him anymore. Heard him say he hurt his left hand again. He's like Mr. Glass. I hope it isn't anything serious. I'll look forward to seeing the fight replay somewhere. He needs to learn from the PacMan experience and fight once more before he goes after a champion, presuming his body can hold up of course.
Just watched the fight. They have it posted on allthebestfights . Man, Keith looked great. Vintage. Excellent movement, varied punch selection, fast hands, great defense. Rocked Barrios several times. Thurman looked to be in excellent shape. Ripped. Though he didn't get the KO (see thoughts above), he showed power. I think 8 oz gloves would have made a significant difference. While Davis got the KO, he also took a lot more punches and Barrios was a lot more competitive in that fight. Keith boxed beautifully - hit-and-don't-get-hit - really good punch output. One Time did to Mario what he should have done to him, no-KO withstanding. Keith is back, man. I'm stoked.

Probably more impressed with Barrios after this one he had some moments and was never hurt. Thurman did his thing and shook off the rust would be interested to see him and Crawford but that could get ugly for One Time

https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/b...7#post31290827 @edgarg: I hear you. This is Keith Idec's style of writing and I really don't know why he does it. Maybe it is more convenient for him or he wants to be unique in his reporting but I agree it is extremely annoying to have to read a round-by-round report backwards. You would not read a whodunit novel by starting on the last chapter.

This was the same guy that Tank knocked out right, I can’t remember.
