Just as well this fight is in America, because I'm not sure if they have Twitter in Ghana.

Without fail it was always going to be someone who was out of the ring longer than himself. Everyone over there is doing it.

Not excited about it but Ryan just need to actually get some rounds in at some point. Hopefully he goes through with the fight and starts stepping up.

A lot of people missing the subtext here. It’s an interim, Lou Dibella managed, opponent leading up to a Kambosos fight. Not sure another quick ko will prepare Ryan for GK, but that appears to be the direction the promoters are hoping to go.

I'm okay with whatever Ryan does next. He needs a few rust shaking fights. Hopefully we get a Cruz-Gonzalez fight after that, or someone semi-relevant.

Yes, sir. Maybe in a year. Right now, Ryan is not ready for that work. Zepeda is a gem for GBP. I don't mind seeing him take a couple more fights too. I'm so big on Zepeda.

Kid gets railed a lot because of his comments about struggling with mental health issues. Keep in mind that unlike most professions where you can skate by when struggling with mental health; being an elite athlete in a combat sport where you could feasibly die, I think it’s reasonable for him to have taken time off. I honestly think people are harsh on him because he’s arrogant and generally unlikable, but he can be good for the sport, so this soft touch in my opinion is permissible. It’s kind of crazy to think that Teofimo Lopez who was the most accomplished of the lightweights might be the most mentally unstable.
