I like Parker and he has fought a lot of the top guys. I would like to see him expose someone like Dubois or wallin while he waits for a title shot

More evidence that the heavyweight picture is shifting again, in the favour of Top Rank and ESPN. He is close to Fury and no doubt the idea of fighting for Arum is a goal

        Yes, that's the situation.

The problem with the Hrgovic fight is that Parker isn't confident that he'd win, and he'd be risking more for less $$$ than he can get to fight Joyce.

Having said that though, Hrgovic promoter doesn't seem to have the confidence in their own fighter to out up enough $$$ to lure one of the bigger name heavies.

Parker is a gatekeeper. Top 10 or not

For example....Tony harrison is a top 10 junior middleweight. But he's still a gatekeeper.

A gatekeeper is chisora. Gatekeeper is a fringe top 20-30 HW. Someone just outside the top 20

hes top 10 but also outside of the top 5 or so there isnt much interest in the other heavies. not like say early 2000s when there was more interest in maybe the top 15 guys.

Problem is hes already fought a bunch of others, whyte, AJ, ruiz, chosira most of the big names are tied up this year and he hasnt really had any amazing performance to make people want to fight him.

hes kind of in a rough spot for opponents. Agree with the otther guy saying to look at regional/euro champs and maybe knock someone out in their hometown, if theres anyone that drives a big local crowd.

Bob pays a decent amount to make Parker vs Anderson?? Will Parker want that though?

Parker`s problem is he already fought all his potential big paydays. Outside Joyce fight and maybe Ruiz rematch I don`t see many other options. He won`t fight Fury, because they are friends, he won`t fight some new guys like Hrgovic because there is no money, Wilder won`t fight him because Wilder has many other American based options.

You would also have to consider the available competition during the active fighters time..with the current state of the HW division, Parker is benefiting from a weak draft class so to speak..he is top 10 because there are 5 solid HWs,not his fault I get it,but his ability is gatekeeper..a solid one.

No one is lining up at Parker's gate with a decent enough offer for higgy to open up, lay out the red carpet and invite them in for a smackdown.

Kronk Parker is a legit top 5 contender who is still under 30 and coming into his prime under Lee's trainage.

In 4yrs time Fury, AJ, Wilder, Whyte and Usyk wont be around, and if they are, shame on them harming their future selves for ego and money.

Parker can be world champ again if he wants to be bad enough. Just no more Mr Nice Guy in the ring though...please!
