Man I'm sick and tired of people here discrediting Calderon, saying that he ran, he quitted, this and that. He's just great, he's the best pure boxer in the game along with Mayweather. I would love to see Calderon against Sosa.

Most people that say that don't appreciate boxing at all, hit and don't get it is main objective of boxing. Just because a slugfest is more entertaining and people appeal to it more doesn't mean Calderon is not great. Don't expect much from some, since most are casual fans and don't really understand what's going on in the ring.

Specially with a guy 5'0 pimp-slapping them to no end.

Rather than Sosa, I want him against Viloria.

That one could be more likely since Sosa just fights against nobodies. I respect him because he's been busy and everything but he's like Zsolt Erdei. On the other hand Viloria seems to be interested in an unification bout.

Rodel Mayol won round 4 and 7....that's it.

Throwing a million punches and not landing one doesn't make you the winner of the round, Calderon threw few but landed and smacked that ass.

Carlos Colon was smoking some ganga at la Perla before the fight to have the card 68-65 to Mayol.

- The announcers were biased as **** towards Calderon, they were sucking his **** all night from complimenting his legs to saying he was landing punches when they were hitting air or gloves. They weren't giving Mayol any credit and hardly called the shots he landed.

- The fight was hard to score because not many punches were landed but one guy was throwing and trying to make a fight while the other guy was holding and moving while not throwing and landing as many.

- I had Mayol winning and thought the fight could continue, the cut reminded me of Benitez vs Leonard and it probably also reminded the officials that's why they stopped it right away.

- Overall the fight ****** and the real loser was me for downloading it and watching it.

well i remember the OLE everytime Mayol threw and hit the air. it was real funny watching him throwing 3-4 punches to nowhere. that reminds me of the cazares fight
